Installing java games on U600
There are 2 ways to install java games to your mobile phone:
Go to http://euploader.com/index.php to upload the java application you want to install.
Make sure you have both the .jar and .jad file.
If you only have the .jar file you can make a .jad file with JadMaker
After you have uploaded both the .jar and .jad file, you’ll get an Id and code.
Next, go with your phone’s browser to this adres: http://euploader.com/wap/index.php
Now you can enter the Id and code you received after you uploaded the files. Then you select download.
Now your phone will start downloading the application. And will install it. Now you’ll find the application In the Extra->Java/Games menu
When you slide up the phone, type: *#9998*4678255#
If you did this right, the phone replies: Activated or something…
Now you can install java games by storing the .jar and .jad file in the other file directory of the phone memory.
Go to the .jad file, click options and the phone will ask if you want to install the java application. Click install

Solution for the error:
“Java error. Invalid format”
Try this, open the jad file with notepad, and change the double lines for single.
Wrong:
MIDlet-Permissions: javax.microedition.io.Connector.bluetooth.client,j
avax.microedition.io.Connector.bluetooth.server
Correct:
MIDlet-Permissions:javax.microedition.io.Connector.bluetooth.client,javax.microedition.io.Connector.bluetooth.server

i use samsung e840,had to used code to activate java (*#9998*4678255#) later when try to install wld get java io exception error. i tried this n it worked with some files, i would copy only one file either of jar or jad, later came to know have to copy both file jar n jad of the game/software downloaded from site(www.getjar.com) on phone memory.u can download a jadmaker for jad files.jad file is need to start installation, but also needs jar file to continue the install process. For some games/software after installation done to run it you need net to be installed n working on ur mob, bcoz they support some kinda ads.

Hey baasbhsba, you need to do this once you’ve activated the code:
go to “other files” where you should have both the jar and jad file. go to “options” when the jad file is highlighted and you’ll get an install screen, say yes and it’s good to go.
Hope this helps.

for everyone who got the IO exception, i had it too. you have to make sure the jar. and jad. files are in the Other files folder, not on your mem. card!
